Brussels, 25 June 2008 - The Fondazione Italianieuropei, chaired by Massimo D'Alema, has become a member of the Party of European Socialists' Foundation, the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS).

The decision has been made during the FEPS' General Assembly. Italianieuropei has become a member of the General Assembly, with voting right, and has also been electedin the Bureau of the newly established foundation.

"This is an important achievement - commented Andrea Peruzy, director of Italianieuropei - and it is also the recognition of our work. We are given the opportunity to contribute, at the highest level, to the formulation of innovative ideas and projectsfor the European center-left".
