Written by Friday, 25 June 2010 17:41 Print

The Foundation for European Progressive Studies, with the support of the Fondazione Italianieuropei, organizes the international conference "EU-Latin America relations: Priorities, Challenges and Opportunities", which will be held in Rome on June 25th. This high-level international conference aims at fostering reflection on the role played today by countries in Latin America, in the aftermath of the financial and economic crisis, in an era where globalisation, the increasing role of China and the challenges raised by climate change do oblige to put fresh thinking on international relations and global governance. Among others, the initiative will feature: José Miguel Insulza, Massimo D’Alema, Enzo Scotti, Alberto Breccia, Carlos Ominami, Carlos Alvarez, Piero Fassino, Moira Paz Estenssoro, Jesus Rodriguez, Paolo Guerrieri, Donato Di Santo, Guillermo Wierzba, Pedro Páez Pérez.
